This year couldn’t have started off better! This was my first campaign in 2014. Everything was a bit uphill, as the record was already out for some time, there weren’t any promo tools to work with outside of the record itself, and the music is something very very special.  How would I describe ‘For The Unknown’? Imagine deep, textured, unraveling, soulful Folk played by Jazz musicians. The piece whole LP was cut in a total of two weeks and features some of the best left of field Chicago Jazz cats: Joshua Abrams (formerly of The Roots), Dudley Bayne, Jeff Kimmel, Todd A. Carter and many more. The record was mastered and cut to vinyl by Matt Colton (James Blake, Four Tet etc.). And since the piece was recorded for sensitive ears and souls – it comes on beautiful 180 gram vinyl with a silk screened cover by Craig Stewart, in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The digital version can be downloaded for free from bandcamp.

The LP was featured on Mary Anne Hobbes new BBC 6 show and was written up on Paradigm Magazine, For Folk’s Sake, Your Music Today, Irregular Crates, Everything Is Chemical, Brooklyn Radio, The Dadada, Large Hearted Boy etc.
